in 2004 my partner, Marg and I moved to rural Kent and I undertook a 2 year renovation/refurbishment of an 18th century property during which time I embarked upon an Open Learning Diploma in Interior Design with KLC School of Design, Chelsea Harbour, London

I qualified in November 2008 with a Merit

previous interior design projects (apart from Pond Cottage) and in no particular order include:-

festival tents for “glamping”

the living space and hallway in a Brussels 1930’s townhouse

a local village hall

a kitchen project outside Whitstable

a 1950’s semi in Surrey

a one bedroom flat in Croydon (with virtually no budget)

a Victorian terrace in Brixton

a bathroom in Brixton

student rooms in Halls of Residence

a Tuscan style herb garden

…these have ranged from an in-depth interior design and/or project management service to simple advice on colour and lighting schemes or fitted furniture designs

prior to 2004 I spent over 20 years in a service industry - Health and Fitness ... starting as an Instructor working up to Regional Management at which stage I moved into the area of HR (Human Resources) ...
